Sori Yanagi (1915-2011) is one of the most renowned Japanese designers with designs that are simple, yet beautiful and aesthetically appealing. He entered the Tokyo Art School in 1934, where he studied art along with architecture, and was greatly inspired by the works of Le Corbusier. When he got interested in designing, he produced many great designs and pieces over the years. Though he died at the age of 96 in 2011, the iconic and timeless appeal of his designs still remain. This legendary designer believed in perfection and came up with creations that reflected his artistic mind.
